Philosophy
My goal as a teacher is to provide students of all levels with the tools to develop their own mastery of the cello, while inspiring a love for music. I teach fundamental technique for physically aware and relaxed playing, and work with all of my students to help them learn how to interpret and creatively engage with their music.
I prioritize building the discipline and creative problem-solving skills required for effective practice and performance over the long-term, helping my students understand how to learn efficiently and effectively.
